Artist Quốc Trượng retires after serving as Military Chèo Theatre Director

People's Artist (NSND) Quốc Trượng, a prominent figure in Vietnamese Chèo theatre, retired at the age of 58 following a distinguished career. He previously served as the Deputy Director of the Military Chèo Theatre in 2010 and held the position of Director from 2014 to 2024, holding the military rank of Colonel in the People's Army of Vietnam.

In addition to his professional achievements, the artist resides in a large, neo-classical style semi-detached villa in Hanoi, which his family has occupied since 2022. He is married to Meritorious Artist (NSƯT) Lâm Thanh, who is 13 years his junior.
