Artist sells trash souvenirs from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's New York wedding

On July 3, pop star Taylor Swift married NFL player Travis Kelce in a private ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event attracted more than a thousand invited guests and was tightly secured, leaving little public detail about the celebration.

New York artist Justin Gignac gathered debris scattered on the streets around the venue—cigarette butts, plastic cups, straws, textile scraps, an ovulation test, an AirPod and other items. He sealed the objects in small plastic cubes stamped with "Just Married" and the wedding date, then listed them for sale on his website. The cubes sold for $25 each, with larger ones priced at $100, and all units were purchased within 24 hours, earning Gignac roughly $1,250. Fans bought the pieces as unconventional memorabilia of the high‑profile wedding.
