Artist Tomáš Stojec relocates from Prague to Karmi

Czech airbrush artist Tomáš Stojec has moved from Prague to the village of Karmi in Northern Cyprus. Drawn by the island's climate, nature, and tranquil lifestyle, Stojec relocated in 2023.

Stojec's professional background includes a decade as a chef before transitioning to the automotive industry, where he co-founded one of the first vehicle modification workshops in the Czech Republic. During this period, he developed a specialization in airbrush art, inspired by the graphic styles of the 1970s and 1980s. In addition to airbrushing, he creates design lamps using wood and epoxy resin.

Stojec noted that airbrushing is a demanding craft that requires significant patience and precision. He expressed that upon arriving in Karmi, he immediately felt a connection to the location.
