Artist Voka presents ‘Ode to Color’ exhibition in Peloponnese
The internationally renowned artist Voka is presenting his first gallery exhibition in Greece, titled ‘Ode to Color’. Hosted at the Plus Art Gallery in Gyalo, Peloponnese, the exhibition runs until October 18.
The collection features large-scale paintings and sketches that focus on the power, energy, and joy of color, with a specific series inspired by the Mediterranean. Voka’s work explores light, landscape, and movement, blending expressive painting with Mediterranean atmospheres. The artist spends half of each year living and working in Koroni, Peloponnese, which serves as a significant source of inspiration for his art.
The exhibition is curated by Alexandros I. Stanas, an Athens-based expert in cultural policy and a board member of the National Museum of Contemporary Art. The opening event drew international visitors, including opera singer Marlies Petersen.
