Artist Xuan Hinh plans contemporary development for Dao Mau Museum

Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh has announced new development directions for the Dao Mau Museum, a cultural project located in Soc Son, Hanoi. The artist aims to evolve the museum toward a contemporary model, utilizing traditional cultural materials integrated with technology and creative experiences to attract younger generations and international tourists.

The 5,500-square-meter architectural work, designed by architect Nguyen Ha and ARB Architects, was completed in 2023. The structure is notable for being built from millions of ancient tiles while preserving 50-year-old trees. Although the project has received international recognition from publications like ArchDaily and has hosted visitors from Hungary, Germany, and Japan, it has not yet opened for regular public tourism.

Xuan Hinh noted that the museum currently lacks sufficient multilingual staff to adequately present its architecture and cultural values. He is currently seeking appropriate teams to realize his new vision, though a specific opening schedule and detailed experiential activities have not yet been confirmed.
