Artistic debates in Zagreb and new ceramic exhibition in Belgrade

In Croatia, commentator Šarić has criticized the expectation among some artists that their work must be funded by public resources. The critique follows a decision by the Zagreb city administration, Možemo, to reallocate a public space previously used by academic painter Tomislav Šilipetar for ten years.

In Serbia, the FSU Gallery in Belgrade is hosting the “SAMO JEDAN RAD” project. The upcoming exhibition features ceramicist Marija Tošić, a master's student at the Faculty of Applied Arts. Her work, titled “Enips,” is a mixed-media installation using ceramics, metal, textile, and glass, exploring themes of social resilience.
