Artistic exhibitions and landscape research initiatives in France

The city of La Teste is hosting the fourth edition of its “Envolées d’art” exhibition in the gardens of the Saint-Vincent church. Running from October 17 to November 22, 2026, the event features fifty large-format artworks inspired by the theme “Autumn Lights.” The exhibition showcases the work of local and regional artists, including both amateurs and professionals, and concludes with a public and jury selection of winners.

In Amilly, the Centre d’Art Les Tanneries is hosting “(F)estivales 2024,” a research-based event organized in partnership with the ACTE Research Unit. The program includes scientific and artistic interventions regarding the relationship between artists and landscapes, featuring works by Richard Long and Lydie Jean-Dit-Pannel.

A transdisciplinary scientific and artistic investigation is also exploring how residents connect with their environments, specifically focusing on the relationship with the sea among inhabitants of Crozon. This project involves mapping landscape dynamics and using participatory theater to translate environmental data and resident experiences into public performance.
