Artistic initiatives launch in Carlantino and Isernia
Various cultural art initiatives are taking place in the Molise region of Italy. In Carlantino, the “Manifestazioni a colori” festival has begun, featuring artists creating live works that depict the town's historic center, natural landscapes, and the Occhito dam. The resulting artworks will form a permanent collection titled “Un paese, Un Paesaggio, Mille Colori” to be owned by the local Pro Loco and the community.
In Isernia, artist Antonio Pallotta is presenting “Muro di colore,” a relational art project involving a collective mural on a 20-meter retaining wall. The project features 175 individual squares, each assigned a color from the rainbow by various artists and critics, including Michelangelo Pistoletto and Franco Purini. The initiative aims to use the “game of difference” to break down social barriers through collaborative creativity.
