Artists Pablo Micocci and Javier Galiana debut new exhibitions

Artist Pablo Micocci has inaugurated his exhibition, ‘Conciencia psicodélica (sugestión de razas humanoides y entidades)’, at the Hospital Centro Vivo de Badajoz. The collection serves as a personal reflection on mental health, insecurities, and the impact of modern society, specifically addressing issues like consumerism, excessive screen time, and the rapid flow of information. Through symbolic characters, Micocci explores how these contemporary habits and social comparisons affect individual freedom and personal relationships.

In Spain, artist and psychiatrist Javier Galiana is presenting his ‘Mar y mente’ exhibition at the Campus de la Asunción in Jerez, organized by the University of Cádiz. The works utilize the sea as a space for emotions and sensations rather than just a landscape. Galiana, a former professor of neuroscience, uses this collection to pay tribute to immigrants who have lost their lives at sea.
