Artists utilize artificial intelligence as a creative tool in music production

Musicians are increasingly integrating artificial intelligence into their creative processes to expand expressive possibilities and materialize compositions.

German composer and writer Lilli Zeifert has released “Musical Path – AI Meets Human Version,” a song performed by musical theater artist Alexandra-Yoana Alexandrova. Zeifert, who lives with dyskinetic cerebral palsy, utilizes AI as an assistive tool to explore new forms of composition and translate her lyrics into music, while maintaining creative direction and authorship.

Similarly, Anier Cruz-Revilla, the creator behind the viral Thiago Navarro Music project, uses AI to convert his ideas and lyrics into songs. Addressing public debate regarding the technology, Cruz-Revilla emphasized that he remains the human creator behind the project, using AI as a medium to share his thoughts and feelings with a wider audience.
