ArtPetro to invest R$ 70 million in Dourados fuel terminal

ArtPetro, a fuel distribution company based in Paraná, has announced an investment of approximately R$ 70 million to establish a mixed fuel and biofuel terminal in Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul. The company has already acquired the land for the project and is currently undergoing the environmental licensing process.

The terminal is designed to serve the regional market by creating an integrated logistics route connecting Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo. The project aims to import fuels via the Port of Paranaguá while simultaneously utilizing local biofuel production to supply other regions.

If environmental authorizations are secured in 2026, construction is expected to last about one year, with the facility projected to become operational in 2027. This marks ArtPetro’s first operation in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
