Arturia MiniFreak receives update 5.0 with sample and wavetable import

Arturia has released firmware version 5.0 for the MiniFreak hardware synthesizer and the MiniFreak V software plugin. This update introduces the ability for users to import their own samples and wavetables, a feature long requested by the community.

Users can import WAV, AIFF, and FLAC samples up to 6 seconds in length. The MiniFreak V plugin facilitates this process via a drag-and-drop interface and includes a dedicated area to monitor remaining storage space. For wavetables, the update supports mono wavetables, such as those from the Pigments library, provided they are 24-bit and 512 points. The update also includes a new bank of 23 presets.
