Arturo Como Re‑elected as Regional FISI Chair for Third Term

Arturo Como, president of ASD Sci Club di Alfedena and the FISI delegate for cross‑country skiing in Central‑South Italy, was re‑elected to the regional committee of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) in Abruzzo. The vote took place at the CONI Palace in L'Aquila, and the committee presidency remained with Angelo Ciminelli.

Como’s re‑election is linked to his long‑standing campaign for expanded artificial snowmaking across the region. He has promoted protocols with municipal councils, organized the “Itinerario di Convivenza” conferences—including a session at the Chamber of Deputies—and sought parliamentary support to install snow‑making cannons for the sport’s future.
