Arturo Zubía delivers pest‑prevention kits to dairy producers in Camargo, Mexico

PAN deputy Arturo Zubía Fernández visited Camargo, Chihuahua, to distribute kits aimed at preventing the livestock pest known as the gusano barrenador. The kits were handed out at the El Mimbres milk collection centre in the Altavista community and at the local Cassidy’s cheese shop, where Zubía was received by owner Nolis.

Zubía highlighted the importance of early prevention for protecting herds and supporting hundreds of families that depend on dairy production. He noted that the El Mimbres centre was a project created through producer cooperation and his former work as Camargo’s mayor. The effort received backing from Governor Maru Campos Galván and the Secretariat of Rural Development, which helped provide technical recommendations alongside the kits. Zubía pledged to continue touring District XX to strengthen animal health and bolster the regional dairy economy.
