Arun Kumar arrested in 2022 JSSC junior engineer paper leak case

Ranchi police have arrested Arun Kumar, the director of Bynisys Technology Private Limited, in connection with the 2022 Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Junior Engineer paper leak case. Kumar, a resident of Bihar's Nalanda district, was apprehended by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Mumbai and subsequently sent to judicial custody.

The investigation stems from a competitive examination held on July 3, 2022, intended to fill 1,279 Junior Engineer (Diploma) positions. The exam was cancelled after reports emerged that question papers and answer keys had been leaked and circulated online before the first shift began.

Police investigations revealed an organized syndicate involved in the conspiracy. Authorities claim that candidates were gathered in Patna to memorize leaked materials prior to the exam. Several individuals have already been taken into custody, including candidate Ranjit Mandal and various members of the syndicate.
