Arunachal Pradesh Minister defends India's strength amid border tensions

Arunachal Pradesh Minister Balo Raja has asserted that India remains in a position of strength following reports of ongoing face-offs with Chinese troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Raja, who oversees Urban Affairs, Land Management, and Civil Aviation, criticized remarks attributed to Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director General Shatrujeet Singh Kapur regarding continued confrontations at various locations along the Arunachal Pradesh frontier.

During a press briefing in Itanagar, Raja questioned why leadership would project a perception of weakness. He suggested that the public watch the spy thriller film ‘Dhurandhar’ to better understand the significant growth of India’s intelligence capabilities.

The minister's comments follow concerns raised by political figures, including AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who demanded clarity from the central government regarding alleged Chinese intrusions and restrictions placed on Indian patrols and civilians in the region.
