Arvid Lindblad scores points at Azerbaijan GP despite colliding with teammate

Arvid Lindblad secured a seventh-place finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, earning six points that helped Racing Bulls maintain fifth place in the constructors' championship. However, his performance was marked by a collision with teammate Liam Lawson following a safety car restart.

The incident occurred at the first corner when Lindblad, positioned between Lawson and Esteban Ocon, misjudged his braking point and struck Lawson. The contact caused Lawson to spin, ultimately resulting in a 12th-place finish and damage to his car's floor. Race officials reviewed the incident but decided against further action, citing the limited space available to the drivers during the restart.

Following the race, Lindblad issued a public apology to Lawson on social media, stating, “Sorry, mate. I’m glad we were able to get some points for the team regardless.” Lawson expressed more frustration, noting the impact of the collision on his vehicle's floor.
