Arvid Lindblad unveils Diwali-inspired helmet for São Paulo Grand Prix
Formula 1 driver Arvid Lindblad, driving for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, has unveiled a custom helmet design to celebrate Diwali during the São Paulo Grand Prix on November 8.
The helmet serves as a personal tribute to Lindblad’s Indian heritage and his Punjabi roots. The design incorporates several traditional symbols, including rangoli patterns, diyas to represent light and hope, lotus flowers symbolizing resilience, and fireworks.
Lindblad noted that he was heavily involved in the creative process to ensure the design remained true to the traditions he celebrated with his maternal grandparents. He expressed that wearing the helmet on a global sporting stage would be a meaningful and emotional moment.
