Arvind Kejriwal accuses PM Modi of donation theft in Ram Temple project
Aam Aadmi Party national coordinator Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference in Goa and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is protecting individuals implicated in the misappropriation of funds and assets meant for the Ram Temple construction. Kejriwal claimed that cash, jewellery, silver bricks and other offerings worth hundreds of crores have been stolen since 2021, and that land parcels were sold to the temple trust at vastly inflated prices – for example, a plot bought for ₹2 million was resold for ₹18 million. He said CCTV footage showed about 70 instances of theft over 40 days, and that eight months of footage had been deleted. Kejriwal also asserted that a Special Investigation Team was blocked from probing the land deals, that FIRs and arrests were fabricated, and that Modi’s confidant Champat Rai continues to run the temple trust. He urged Hindus and devotees to raise their voices against the alleged corruption.
