Arvind Kejriwal embraces ‘mental Naxal’ label in response to PM Modi

Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, has responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent comments regarding ‘mental Naxals’ (dimagi naxal). Kejriwal stated on social media that he is a ‘mental Naxal’ and is proud of it, arguing that the term is being used by the Prime Minister to target those who question the system or demand improvements in public services like schools, hospitals, electricity, and water.

Kejriwal suggested that if historical figures such as Bhagat Singh or B.R. Ambedkar were alive today, they might also be labeled as ‘mental Naxals’ by the current administration. He asserted that anyone seeking to change a corrupt system or build a developed India is being branded as such by the Prime Minister.

AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh added that the government appears unsettled by the movements of youth and Gen-Z. He questioned whether those protesting against paper leaks or demanding better school facilities and mid-day meals are being categorized as ‘mental Naxals’ by the administration.
