AS Eupen defeats Jong Genk 4-1 in season opener

AS Eupen secured a 4-1 victory against Jong Genk in their season opener. The match began with an early lead for Eupen when Igor Plastun scored via a header following a corner within the first few minutes.

Jong Genk managed to equalize shortly after when Kim capitalized on defensive disorganization to lob the ball past goalkeeper Hiller. Despite the setback and a period of Jong Genk dominance, Eupen regained control in the second half.
