As Nogais officials discuss heritage conservation with Xunta

The Mayor of As Nogais, Jesús Núñez, met with the Galician Counselor of Culture, Language, and Youth, José López Campos, to discuss the conservation of local heritage sites. The discussions focused on potential interventions for the churches of Santo André and San Cosme de Nullán, as well as the Torre de Torés.

During the meeting, officials also addressed upcoming modifications to the Galician Cultural Heritage Law. These changes aim to streamline administrative procedures and reduce waiting times for municipalities and citizens. According to the Xunta, the goal is to ensure that heritage protection does not impede vital or professional projects, noting that previous resolution times for heritage-related files could range from six to 12 months.
