AS Roma and Como eye Dion Beljo amid youth development plans

AS Roma and Como 1907 are reportedly competing for the signature of Dion Beljo, a 24-year-old striker currently playing for Dinamo Zagreb. Beljo has recorded 15 goals in 15 appearances, leading Dinamo Zagreb to value him at approximately 25 million euros. While Real Betis has already had a 20 million euro offer rejected, both Italian clubs are monitoring the player despite having established attacking options.

Separately, AS Roma is exploring the development of an Under 23 team to bridge the gap between the youth academy and the first team. This initiative, estimated to cost around 20 million euros, is intended to align with the club's long-term stadium project and reduce reliance on capital gains by fostering homegrown talent.
