Serie A clubs announce summer training camps and friendlies
Several Italian clubs have released details of their 2026 summer preparations. Parma will hold its pre‑season medical tests from 13 July and then move to Pinzolo in Trentino for a training camp from 25 July to 2 August, scheduling friendlies against Arezzo, Iraklis Salonicco and Sampdoria. Ascoli’s squad gathers at Picchio Village on 13 July before heading to a retreat in Norcia, with planned friendlies against Grosseto (23 July) and Frosinone (26 July), plus a match versus Lazio on 2 August. Roma will start its camp on 13 July at the Fulvio Bernardini centre, with DAZN set to broadcast the pre‑season matches and a series of friendlies against Primavera sides, Roma City, Trastevere, Cannes, Cardiff City, Newport County and Brighton, culminating in a high‑profile game in August. Lazio’s Primavera team begins medicals on 13–14 July and departs for a retreat in Ovindoli on 15 July, with a friendly against Gattuso’s senior side on 20 July. The senior squad’s market activity remains limited. Lecce Primavera will convene on 12 July, start medicals the next day, and travel to Cotronei for a training camp from 17 July to 1 August, arranging three friendlies against Sila Regia, Rende Calcio U19 and Monopoli. These schedules outline the clubs’ preparation programmes ahead of the new Serie A season.
