AS Roma eyes West Ham forward Crysencio Summerville
AS Roma are preparing a bid for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville, valued at around €40 million. The Italian club is reportedly ready to offer €30 million, hoping to add the 22‑year‑old to a striking partnership with Dutch teammate Donyell Malen, who is currently with Roma and has been urging Summerville to join.
Summerville, who finished the season with West Ham's relegation to the Championship, wants to avoid staying in England’s second tier. Roma, meanwhile, are looking to generate cash after a strong scoring run by Malen – 15 goals and three assists in 20 Serie A matches – and to replace the departed Matías Soulé, whose transfer fell through earlier in the summer.
The two Dutch internationals have been training together at the Netherlands’ World‑Cup camp in Kansas City, where Malen highlighted Summerville’s dribbling and passing abilities as a perfect fit for Roma’s attack under manager José Gasperini.
