AS Roma faces significant injury crisis ahead of key fixtures

AS Roma is dealing with multiple player injuries ahead of critical upcoming matches. Argentine forward Paulo Dybala is currently undergoing recovery for a calf muscle injury sustained during a recent match against Real Madrid. His availability for the Champions League fixture against Manchester United on November 3 remains uncertain.

In addition to Dybala, captain Lorenzo Pellegrini has suffered a muscle injury in his right leg during a victory over Slovan Bratislava. Pellegrini is scheduled for an MRI to determine the severity and expected recovery time, though initial estimates suggest he may be sidelined for up to 15 days.

Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini faces limited options in attack for the upcoming match against Napoli. The squad currently has only four offensive players available for three positions: Malen, Castro, Sulle, and Mora. Alternatives such as Bryan Cristante, who recently returned from a knee issue, or Pisilli may be utilized in attacking midfield roles.
