AS Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui sparks Liverpool and Manchester United interest

Midfielder Neil El Aynaoui, who impressed with Morocco at the World Cup, will join AS Roma’s summer tour in Wales after the tournament. Roma intend to sell a player of his stature before the July 31 deadline to meet UEFA settlement parameters.

Liverpool have intensively scouted Aynaoui and are gathering information, but have not submitted any official bid. Manchester United have also shown interest but are reportedly “biding their time” without having made a formal offer. The Italian side values the player at €35‑40 million and is reluctant to open the door to a departure, despite interest from several Premier League clubs.

No negotiations have commenced, and the next few weeks could decide whether a concrete offer materialises.
