AS Roma monitors Olympiacos defender Lorenzo Pirola

AS Roma is closely monitoring Olympiacos centre-back Lorenzo Pirola following his strong performances in Greece. Representatives from the Italian club have reportedly attended several matches at the G. Karaiskakis Stadium, including the recent derby against Panathinaikos, to observe the 24-year-old defender.

In addition to club interest, Pirola’s development has caught the attention of the Italian national team. Roberto Mancini is reportedly considering the defender for potential call-ups for the Nations League matches.

Pirola has become a key figure in the Olympiacos defense under coach Imanol Alguacil, maintaining a market value estimated at approximately €11 million. He has recorded 77 total appearances for the club, including 11 appearances in the current season.
