AS Roma moves ahead with key contract renewals for Dybala, Celik and Pellegrini

AS Roma is accelerating contract negotiations for several core players as the club approaches the new season. Paulo Dybala is said to be only a few steps from signing a one‑year extension with an option for another year, reportedly worth €3 million net per season, after confirming his intention to stay despite being on holiday in Argentina. Defender Zeki Celik has agreed to a new deal that would raise his salary to about €2.5 million net per year. Talks have officially begun with the campione’s number 7, Lorenzo Pellegrini, although the length and financial terms remain to be finalised.

The club’s negotiations also involve other salient contracts. Gianluca Mancini, dissatisfied with the pace of talks, faces interest from Inter Milan, which is monitoring his situation as a potential signing. Meanwhile, medical expert Professor Pier Paolo Mariani, who performed Dybala’s knee surgery in March, affirmed the Argentine’s full recovery and expressed confidence that, with personalised preparation, Dybala could compete at a high level up to the age of 40.

All discussions are expected to be concluded before the squad assembles for its pre‑season camp on 13 July, ensuring the key players are registered for the upcoming campaign.
