AS Roma relies on youth players for strong start

AS Roma has demonstrated significant offensive improvement during the early stages of the 2025/26 Serie A season, scoring 23 goals in the first nine matches compared to 10 during the same period last year. This scoring surge is driven by a tactical system under manager Gasperini that heavily utilizes young talent.

Key contributors include young players such as Lulli, Pisilli, Ghilardi, and Rodrigo Mora, who recently scored a decisive header. The team's offensive depth is further highlighted by the performance of Malen and the involvement of several under-23 players, including Soulé and Koulierakis. The club has recorded 12 goals and assists from its younger roster, marking a notable trend in the team's current competitive form.
