AS Roma pushes for West Ham winger Summerville and Strasbourg winger Moreira

AS Roma has intensified its summer transfer activity, holding a meeting with the agents of West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville. The Italian club is said to have offered around €34 million, below the €40 million release clause, and is negotiating a salary package that falls short of the player’s €100,000‑a‑week demand. Roma’s hierarchy is also aiming to keep the deal financially sustainable.

At the same time, Roma has reached a verbal agreement with Belgian international Diego Moreira, who has signed a pre‑contract for a €3 million‑per‑year salary until 2031. The club is prepared to meet Strasbourg’s asking price of roughly €35‑40 million, including performance‑related bonuses, but the French side is holding out for a higher fee. Both negotiations remain ongoing as Roma balances its squad ambitions with fiscal constraints.
