AS Roma stadium project begins expropriation in Pietralata
The expropriation process for the new AS Roma stadium in Pietralata has officially begun. Authorities have issued communications to five property owners regarding 821 square meters of land involved in the project.
The total compensation planned for these owners is approximately 976,644 euros, calculated based on market values for buildings, garages, warehouses, and urban areas. The affected owners have a 30-day window to submit observations or contest the economic valuations and the extent of the land to be expropriated.
Technical discussions with the Superintendency and Ferrovie continue, with the goal of finalizing the authorization process by mid-September. Even if legal disputes arise regarding compensation, regulations allow for the temporary occupation of the areas to prevent construction delays. The project aims to begin construction in March 2027.
