AS Roma targets €40 million sale of Matías Soulé as Dybala secures new contract

AS Roma is preparing to sell Argentine winger Matías Soulé for around €40 million before the June 30 financial deadline. The club sees the move as a way to generate cash and record a profit while maintaining squad balance. Borussia Dortmund, Brighton and Aston Villa have all expressed interest, with preliminary contacts already underway.

At the same time, veteran forward Paulo Dybala is close to signing a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2028. The renewal was driven by the coaching staff and is viewed as a signal of continuity for the team’s attacking core. Both developments form the core of Roma’s summer transfer strategy, aimed at strengthening finances and the squad ahead of the new season.
