Rodrigo Mora transfer talks between AS Roma and FC Porto stall
Negotiations between AS Roma and FC Porto for the transfer of young talent Rodrigo Mora have hit a significant impasse. Roma had proposed a loan deal worth 7 million euros with a conditional obligation to buy for 43 million euros, based on appearances and Champions League qualification. However, Porto's new leadership has reportedly rejected these terms, seeking more immediate and guaranteed payment conditions.
The situation has been complicated by public tension regarding the player's status. Mora's lawyer, Luis Miguel Henrique, expressed concern for the 2007-born player's well-being, stating that Mora feels relegated to a third-choice option and is deeply unhappy.
FC Porto manager Francesco Farioli responded to these claims following a recent match where Mora remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes. Farioli dismissed the lawyer's narrative, stating that the player does not know his exact standing in the hierarchy and emphasizing that team priority comes before individual players. Farioli noted that both Mora and another player, Gabri, are viewed as high-level alternatives for the same position.
