AS Saint-Etienne rejects Norwich City loan offer for Lucas Stassin

AS Saint-Etienne has rejected a loan proposal from English Championship side Norwich City for Belgian striker Lucas Stassin. The club's owners, Kilmer Sports Ventures, have maintained a firm stance on the 21-year-old's valuation.

To facilitate a permanent transfer, Saint-Etienne is reportedly seeking a fee in the region of 20 million euros. This valuation exceeds Stassin's current Transfermarkt market value of 15 million euros. Despite the high asking price, several clubs have expressed interest, including FC Porto, SC Braga, Benfica, Hull City, Galatasaray, and RC Strasbourg. Stassin is currently under contract with the French club until June 2028.
