French football clubs manage squad changes during transfer window

French football clubs Stade Rennais and Paris Saint-Germain are actively managing their squads ahead of the summer transfer window closure.

Stade Rennais is currently in negotiations to recruit a new center-forward to replace Breel Embolo, whose departure is anticipated. The club has already bolstered its roster with several signings, including Adrien Thomasson, Issa Soumaré, Gonçalo Oliveira, Eliezer Mayenda, Bryan Reynolds, Charlie Cresswell, and Nicolas Lemaître.

At Paris Saint-Germain, manager Luis Enrique is integrating new arrivals Torres Godts and Akliouche into the squad. While the club has strengthened its attacking options, certain players face uncertainty; Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola are currently sidelined from immediate plans despite remaining part of the group.
