AS Saint-Étienne to invest over €10M in summer transfer window

AS Saint-Étienne (ASSE) is significantly increasing its transfer budget for the summer window, with Kilmer Sports prepared to invest more than €10 million. This increased spending is intended to create a financial advantage over rivals in Ligue 2.

The club is shifting its recruitment strategy toward more mature players to ensure an immediate impact on the squad. While previous efforts focused on younger talents, the new targets have an average age of approximately 24 years. Data analysis has been utilized to validate these moves, with players like Jakob Breum and Tamar Svetlin identified as high-compatibility targets.

Priority areas for recruitment include a left-back and a striker to prepare for the potential departure of Lucas Stassin. Several player departures, such as Zuriko Davitashvili, Mickaël Nadé, or Ebenezer Annan, may occur alongside these new acquisitions.
