AS Saint-Étienne updates squad with Mendy arrival and Stojkovic loan

AS Saint-Étienne is making adjustments to its squad during the transfer window. The club is set to officialize the arrival of 18-year-old Senegalese winger Étienne Mendy from Diambars FC. Mendy, who previously underwent a trial with Manchester United, had his arrival in France delayed due to visa issues but has now arrived and will join the club's reserve team.

In a separate move, the club has reached an agreement for defender Strahinja Stojkovic to depart on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old Serbian player, who joined the club for 2.8 million euros last year, will move to OFK Belgrade in Serbia. The decision follows limited playing time for the defender under recent coaching staffs.
