AS Saint‑Étienne blocks Davitashvili move as Atalanta and Besiktas walk away

AS Saint‑Étienne (ASSE) has turned down an offer from Atalanta for winger Zuriko Davitashvili, rejecting a €12 million bid and demanding at least €20 million for the player. The high price request has led both Atalanta and Turkish club Besiktas to abandon their pursuit. Besiktas instead completed the signing of Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard, while Atalanta has shifted its focus to Bosnian winger Kerim Alajbegović, planning an official bid for Bayer Leverkusen. Despite the setbacks, Davitashvili remains linked with several other clubs, including Olympiakos, Hoffenheim and Stade Rennais, but his future at the French club remains uncertain.
