AS Trenčín achieves defensive milestone under new coach

AS Trenčín has recorded three consecutive clean sheets in competitive matches, a feat the club has not achieved in two and a half years. This defensive improvement follows the appointment of Marek Ďanovský, who replaced Ricardo Moniz in mid-October.

The streak includes a 1-0 victory in the Slovnaft Cup against Lokomotíva Košice, a 2-0 win against Skalica, and a 0-0 draw against Komárno. In the recent match against Komárno, goalkeeper Andrija Katič secured the point with a crucial save in the final moments.

Following this defensive stability, Slovan Bratislava coach Yaya Touré praised his team's performance after their victory against Trenčín. Touré noted that his players displayed the concentration and intensity required to control the match, contrasting the performance with their recent disappointing draw against Dukla Banská Bystrica.
