AS Trenčín replaces coach Ricardo Moniz with Marek Ďanovský

AS Trenčín has announced a change in its coaching staff following a period of poor performance in the Niké liga. The club has terminated its cooperation with Dutch manager Ricardo Moniz. The decision follows a season where the team earned only five points from nine matches, resulting in a single victory, two draws, and six losses. The final match leading to the dismissal was a 0-1 home defeat against MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica.

Marek Ďanovský has been appointed as the new head coach of the first team. Ďanovský is a long-time figure within the club's structure, having previously achieved success with the U17 and U19 youth categories and managing the club's B-team. His appointment is part of a broader restructuring of the technical staff, which includes Karol Karlík joining the senior team's staff and Peter Kleščík taking over the B-team.
