AS Verson, a Regional 3 side, achieved a significant 4-0 victory against La Ferté-Bagnoles, a Regional 1 team, during the sixth round of the Coupe de France. The match took place at the Stade Jules-Rimet.

Striker Édouard Ozanne was the standout performer, scoring two goals to lead his team to qualification. His second goal, a strike from twenty meters, was described by coach Kévin Leroux as a “Ligue 1 strike.”
