ASA begins 2027 squad planning following Série C promotion

Following their promotion to the 2027 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, ASA has begun planning for the upcoming season. The club has already secured 13 players and confirmed the retention of coach Itamar Schülle.

Recent additions and renewals include goalkeeper João Guilherme and midfielder Vinicius Tsumita. The squad also features several players who renewed their contracts, such as Paulinho, Arthurinho, Vitão, Ferreira, Samuel, Yohan, Alef, Michael Douglas, and Gustavo Ramos. The club also announced the signing of 29-year-old attacker Wendel Júnior, who previously played for Confiança.

Executive President Rogério Siqueira stated that the projected budget for 2027 is R$ 12 million, sourced from sponsors, collaborators, and competition participation quotas. Siqueira noted that this figure could increase with additional partnerships. In 2026, ASA achieved runner-up status in both the Campeonato Alagoano and the Copa Alagoas.
