Asa McIntosh and six others sentenced for million-pound drug operation

Seven members of a drug trafficking group known as the ‘P Line’ have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to multiple offences at Birmingham Crown Court. The operation, valued at over £1 million, supplied Class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine across Smethwick, Wednesbury, Walsall, and Birmingham.

Bodycam footage released by West Midlands Police shows 21-year-old Asa McIntosh screaming as officers woke him from sleep during a raid. Investigations by the County Lines Taskforce revealed the group operated with high intensity, with members working seven-hour shifts across a 22-hour period to meet demand.

Detectives recovered mobile phones containing thousands of messages and videos of the group members displaying large amounts of cash and narcotics. The investigation, which began in 2023, led to enforcement actions across multiple addresses in 2025.
