Asaduddin Owaisi and Rameshwar Sharma clash over Kazi Camp remarks

Political tensions have escalated in Bhopal between AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP legislator Rameshwar Sharma following controversial remarks regarding Kazi Camp. Owaisi challenged Sharma to launch a missile at Kazi Camp if he had the courage, responding to Sharma’s previous statement about firing missiles from Karond that would land in Kazi Camp. Sharma later clarified that his comment referred to a Kazi Camp in Islamabad, Pakistan, rather than the local area in Bhopal.

In a counter-response, Sharma criticized Owaisi’s language, advising the MP to abandon what he termed “indecent language” and suggesting that Owaisi take his grievances to court. Sharma maintained that Indian missiles would continue to target terrorist locations.

Owaisi also used the platform to criticize the proposed Uniform Civil Code (UCC), arguing it is unconstitutional and targets religious freedoms. He questioned why Muslim communities should not be exempt from the UCC if tribal communities are granted such protections, asserting that the code attempts to impose Hindu marriage laws on other communities.
