Asaduddin Owaisi urges evacuation of 4,000 Indian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has called on the Indian government to immediately deploy aircraft to evacuate 4,000 Indian citizens currently in Saudi Arabia for Umrah. Speaking at a rally in Kairana, Uttar Pradesh, Owaisi stated that the pilgrims are facing extremely difficult circumstances, with many reportedly ill and struggling to secure food.
Owaisi expressed concern regarding the lack of assistance from travel agents and warned that if the situation is not addressed within a few days, the stranded individuals may be forced to beg for basic necessities.
Additionally, the AIMIM leader urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reconsider his diplomatic relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also suggested that the Prime Minister should engage with US President Donald Trump to prevent further conflict in the Middle East, noting that regional escalation could drive up fuel and gas prices.
