Asaduddin Owaisi's convoy involved in Bhopal accident
AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi's convoy was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on VIP Road in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. According to Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Vasant Kaul, the collision occurred after vehicles in the convoy stopped suddenly while negotiating a turn. The incident resulted in injuries to four or five motorcyclists, who were subsequently taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
Owaisi's visit to Bhopal also included political activities regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He arrived in the city to address a public gathering at the Central Library ground to express opposition to the proposed legislation. Owaisi argued that the UCC contradicts several constitutional provisions, including the fundamental rights to freedom of religion and equality before the law.
