Asan City announces 32nd Asan Citizen Award winners

Asan City has selected the recipients for the 32nd Asan Citizen Awards. Following a review by a deliberation committee, five individuals and one organization were chosen for their contributions to regional development and improving the quality of life for citizens.

The awardees include Kwon Ye-seom (Filial Piety and Hometown Love), Lee Mi-ok (Education and Welfare), Gong Jeong-sik (Culture and Sports), Baek Seong-hyeon (Economy and Environment), and Kim Tae-gyun (Special Service). Additionally, the Baebang-eup Happiness Promotion Team received the Group Award for establishing a welfare safety net through support for vulnerable groups.

Mayor Oh Se-hyeon congratulated the winners, noting that their dedication to areas such as family care, education, local economy, and public safety serves as a foundation for the city's growth.
