Asan City to host investment briefing to expand industrial ecosystem

Asan City is launching a major initiative to attract domestic and international companies, leveraging large-scale investments from Samsung Electronics and Samsung Display. The city plans to host its first ‘2026 Asan City Investment Promotion Briefing’ in Seoul on October 2 to promote its industrial competitiveness and investment environment to metropolitan-area companies, investment institutions, and economic organizations.

The briefing aims to capitalize on the potential for supply chain reorganization and sequential investments following Samsung’s 113 trillion won investment plan. Asan seeks to attract companies in sectors including semiconductors, displays, automotive parts, secondary batteries, robotics, and AI-based manufacturing solutions. The city will offer customized support, including information on industrial complexes, local tax reductions, and one-stop administrative services to facilitate new business locations and expansions.
