Rapper A$AP Rocky told host Jason Lee on The Jason Lee Show that his wife Rihanna is currently in a recording studio working on new material, adding that he may "get in trouble" for revealing the information. He said, "She’s in the studio right now… Sorry, babe," confirming the singer’s return to music after a nearly decade‑long hiatus since her 2016 album Anti.

Rihanna, who has three children—RZA, Riot and Rocki—has spent recent years focusing on her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty businesses and releasing occasional soundtrack songs, most recently for the 2025 film The Smurfs.
